From managing sleep issues, potty training, and getting out the door in the morning, to homework battles, 504 Plans & IEP meetings, screen-time struggles, big feelings, college selection, weddings, and cell phone contracts! I help parents of daily life raise kids they want to hang out with as adults; navigating each stage with clarity, confidence, and perspective. Some challenges are deeply serious, some are daily wear-and-tear, and some are simply the timeless puzzle of raising humans who are wonderful, complicated, and somehow always hungry right before bedtime.

Parenting changes, but it never really ends. As children grow into teenagers, young adults, and parents themselves, the questions can become more layered and the emotions more tender. I help families navigate these evolving relationships with wisdom, calm, and care. From communication struggles and boundaries to launching, family tension, and the changing connection between parents, adult children, and grandchildren, I provide support that helps families move toward greater understanding, a stronger connection, and a steadier path forward.

Parenting begins long before a baby arrives. I support expectant parents as they prepare for the emotional, relational, and practical shifts of welcoming a child so they begin with clarity, confidence, and intention. I share my personal number so parents can ask questions as they arise.

Parenting starts before a child is born and continues long after they’re grown. When it feels overwhelming, I help parents slow down, gain perspective, and respond with intention so relationships strengthen and the goal remains raising upstanding adults, not simply managing behavior.

I offer personalized coaching and individualized parent education designed to meet families where they are. Sessions are tailored to each family’s needs and may include one or both parents, children, or the whole family together. My work focuses on helping parents gain clarity, confidence, set thoughtful boundaries, and build steadier relationships, so daily life feels more manageable. This approach not only supports parents in raising capable, confident adults but also fosters the development of resilient kids.

I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. As a licensed teacher, certified mental wellness counselor, and parent of four, including one child with special needs, I understand the realities of parenting across different needs, stages, and circumstances. My approach to personalized coaching is shaped by nearly 30 years of parenting and teaching through change, challenge, and growth, always with the long view in mind, focusing on helping families raise resilient kids.

Personalized coaching for parenting and parent education provides support for children and teens at different stages. We offer guidance for neurodivergent children and families, helping them navigate behavior challenges and power struggles. Our approach fosters resilient kids by providing support during transitions, stress, and change. With a focus on parenting with clarity, boundaries, and confidence, we empower parents to raise strong and adaptable children.

The dandelion became a guiding symbol for my work through lived experience. I give parenting guidance that is solidly rooted in education, training, and lived experience. As a military spouse, I moved our family 15 times across 4 countries and 3 continents, often parenting solo and helping our children adapt to new schools, cultures, and expectations again and again. I’ve taught in eight schools, across all grade levels, including composite classrooms. I’ve seen firsthand how children around the world grow with resilience when they are grounded, trusted, and guided with clarity.
Dandelions don’t require perfect conditions to thrive. They grow strong roots, adapt to their surroundings, and flourish wherever they land. The Dandelion Way reflects the kind of parenting that prepares children not just for the next phase, but for adulthood. For life. Rooted, resilient, and prepared to navigate the world with confidence.
